It's that time again...I promise to actually post some pictures of the kids soon, but until then, here's a brief glimpse of my past week courtesy of MckMama.
After discovering a very poopy Jordan, I most certainly did not change said diaper in the front seat of the van, in our driveway, because we were already running late for gymnastics and I didn't want to go back inside.
I do not have a very nasty bruise on my knee from trying to hurdle over a baby gate. I did not miscalculate the height of the gate, trip over it, and land squarely on both knees. I did not lie on my kitchen floor for several seconds trying to decide whether to laugh or cry!
I was not a bit giddy while sorting through heaps of baby clothes and paraphernalia to get rid of at the Mother's Market (flea market for mothers).
I did not polish off a whole bag of highly addictive chips by myself in one evening while watching a movie with Jon.
My clothes and my children's sleeves have not been covered in snot all week... my children always use a tissue and most certainly do not chose to use a sleeve when they see me approaching with a tissue. I did not go out in public tonight with a snot streak along the side of my black pants... that would be disgusting!
I did not try to balance a styrofoam cup of coffee, a glass of water, a cookie on a napkin, and my Bible study notes as I made my way to my small group's meeting room after a helpful suggestion that I "make two trips". I also did not make a comment about being able to juggle lots as a mother of 3 young children. I did not trip on carpet under the table sending my coffee and water all over the books, Bibles, papers, name tags, etc. on the table. I did not burn my arm trying to prevent said spill. AND I most certainly did not hide in the kitchen, totally embarrassed, nursing my burn. That whole incident would just be way to humbling for a very self-sufficent momma.
