New Haircut

For a long time (we're talking years), Abby has "resisted" me brushing her hair. The time had come...

I wasn't planning for it to get quite as short as it did, but Jude distracted both of us at a crucial moment! It looks cute on her and best of all it takes all of 30 seconds to brush her hair. She can almost do it herself, which would be even better!

Random summer fun

Ready for a ride...although the boys will "travel" together for short walks that Abby can do, Abby and Jude ride on longer walks and Jordan rides in the backpack. Given our hill, it's a workout when it's just me!

This was one of the first timest that Jude really enjoyed the sprinkler. He is Abby's shadow, so does pretty much whatever she does these days. It's really cute when she'll come to tell me something, like, "Mum, the garbage truck is coming!" (it may be a little sad, but this is an "event" at our house every garbage day!) Jude will follow and say "Mummy, barbidge tuk coming!"

Jordan's very much enjoying picking grass. On our lawn it's actually more like clover leaves and flowers... there's not much by way of grass on our lawn!

Watching fire works from our bed out the patio door. We put Abby to bed in our bed and then "woke" her. Because we didn't think she would actually remember being "awake", we took a picture of her watching :)
