"Hello?"
"Any more?!"
Abby got her nearly 12 year old cousin Allie to play "Pollys" with her and then got her Auntie Win to roll down the hill with her!
The day that we arrived at Auntie Joan's cottage (July 12) it was pouring! It rained on and off for the next morning as well, but Abby and I decided to go out an play just the same!

Learning how to skip rocks with Papa.
While we were in Debec, Abby and I went fishing with Papa, something I did when I was a little girl. Papa got Abby a Dora fishing rod for her birthday, so she was very excited to try it out. First, Papa had to put a hook on it for her.
Finding a nice juicy worm for bait...
Papa or I would cast for Abby and then she would reel it in. She wasn't overly patient and kept asking where the fish were. After a while, she decided to pick wild flowers instead.
Abby, Jude and I just returned from spending 12 days in NB with our families. Papa, my dad has several gardens that Abby loved to explore. I loved walking around my parents' property with the kids, telling them about when I was a little girl. Abby liked picking peas and lettuce, although wouldn't eat either.
Papa built a tee-pee structure for his beans to grow up so they would make a tent for the kids to play in. The peas weren't high enough to make a covering, but Abby enjoyed playing in it just the same.
