Whew... it seems like the summer has been a whirlwind! Our computer crashed without warning in June which limited our posts considerably. Although we still haven't replaced the desktop, my old laptop is serving us well for the time being. July flew by as Jon tried to finish up at work so he could start his parental leave, and I finished up paperwork for my internship before leaving for NB. Then there's packing for a family of 5 for a 2,800 km (one way) roadtrip to the east coast, working on the addition, washing laundry, dishes, cleaning, making meals, hanging out laundry, keeping Jordan (who became
very mobile by the end of July) out of the catfood, bringing in laundry before flash rain showers, finding lost shoes, folding laundry & then trying to put it away before it gets UNFOLDED by little people who want to use laundry baskets for cars, trains, boats, spaceships, schoolbusses, etc. And then, there's days like this one, where Mummy was busy doing too many things and Jude decided to get his own cereal...
I found random cheerios for weeks...the most bizzare spot was in the litter box in the basement, which just happens to be directly under the site of the spill. There is a little hole in our floor by the baseboard beside the garbage can. Down went the cheerios!
