It was a beautiful day yesterday, so we decided to go for a walk to the Cascades Conservation Area, just a short drive from our home. We underestimated the amount of snow and slush that would be on the trail, but had fun nonetheless! Jude enjoyed his walk on Daddy's back.

Abby let me put 2 braids in her hair this morning before playschool. Her hair is getting really long & it gets so messy when it's down. I thought the braids were sweet. She didn't agree. This may be the only picture of her with 2 braids for awhile! She's very sweet, but very strong-willed!
Abby & I made little cakes in her easy bake oven to remember Josh & Jonah's birthdays (March 18 & 19). They would have been 4 years old. 
Abby's getting really good at riding her tricycle, although she still favours going backwards!

Okay, this is what happes when you have 3 strollers, 2 mums & 5 kids at McDonald's... we pretty much monopolized a section... oops! Although we really tried to get everyone to "look" for the camera, only Katie ended up looking when the camera actually took the picture. Kids move fast!
Jude still on bland food... no Happy Meal for him (he was okay with his rice rusks & apple sauce.... he's never had a HappyMeal anyway... lots of time for that!) 
This is Jude as his usual happy self. Early Monday morning (2 am to be exact) he started vomiting. In the last couple of days he's not been able to keep anything much down. We took him to the physician today and he's got a gastrointestinal virus. Poor little guy! He's pretty misreable. We've done A LOT of laundy in the past couple of days.
Our dear friends Joy & Charles came to visit this past weekend with their two children, Hannah & Andrew. Hannah is 5 months younger than Abby and Andrew is 2 1/2 months younger than Jude.
Some of our latest projects included making a necklace (Abby's wearing it) and making a mobile with planets, stars & moons with baked clay and glow-in-the-dark paint.
I got Jon some new crokinole pieces for Valentine's day this year (it was one of the games we played when we were dating). We used to have the pieces, but they are still somewhere in NB. We taught Abby how to play.
We went sliding with some friends last weekend. Abby had a blast!
We went on a little hike with our friends Karen & Madelyn, Angela & Asher and Jude. Abby liked sitting on the side of the trail and looking for mice under the snow with her stick.
