Although we got a bit of snow earlier in the week, we got lots today! Abby was soooo excited to go out and play and help Daddy shovel the driveway. Jude was a little unsure at first (we didn't really have snow last year and he would have been too young to really play in it anyway). Abby helped "show him the ropes" and he soon had fun as well. No baby Jordan yet...he's now 2 days overdue.Wednesday, November 28, 2007

Jordan Update
Jordan has yet to make his appearance. I am now officially the MOST pregnant that I have ever been. I've had a few more braxton-hicks contractions in the past couple of days, but other than that, not much is going on. I have been cleaning more than usual (I spent a significant part of this afternoon organizing/cleaning the upstairs of the addition, labelling boxes of plumbing & electrical stuff, etc. ) which could be "nesting" :)
Hopefully we'll be able to post baby pictures soon!!

~~~~~~~Thank you Mrs. Katie~~~~~
Last Wednesday was Abby and Jude's last official "Mrs. Katie Day". My friend Katarina (aka Mrs. Katie) took care of the kids while I was at my internship 2 days a week. Both Abby and Jude loved their time in her home with her own two children (Anthony & Alexandra) who are close to Abby & Jude in age. These are some pictures that she took and posted on her blog of the kids' days in her home.
Kat, thanks for caring for Abby & Jude and for making your home such a warm, fun and welcoming place to be. We truly appreciate all that you did with our little ones as well as your amazing flexibility! Thanks so much!!
Abby is looking forward to her "one more Mrs. Katie Day" when we go to the hospital when Jordan's ready to make his appearance :)
Getting ready to be a big brother!
Jude had his first haircut on Saturday. As much as I loved his little curls, it was getting really long in the back and on the top.We put him in his booster seat on the table where Jon used the clippers to cut off the curls (which Mummy then put in a little bag to save). I knew that it needed to be done, but I wanted to have some time to get used to his big boy look before he's no longer the "baby" of the family.
He was a little apprehensive, but did really well overall.
Jude sporting his new hair cut. I'll try to get a better picture. He looks so much different! He has developed a love for books over the last couple of months. He loves sitting in his little rocking chair, "reading".
Any day now!
We're getting close to our due date! We're now at 38 weeks, 1 day. These pictures were taken about a week or so ago. Jordan is now considered "full-term". I'm trying not to be too impatient, especially since this will really be our last pregnancy and the last time I'll be able to feel a little person moving and growing inside me... what a miracle! I love being able to feel Jordan's little hiccups and wiggles and even his kicks and pokes. Hopefully our next baby update will be pictures of Jordan, not of my growing belly... I don't think I can grow much more!
Baby Jordan Update
If this were my pregnancy with Abby, we'd already be holding our little Jordan in our arms. This is not the case, however. Jordan is still hanging out in his cozy quarters inside Mummy. We're at 36 weeks, 4 days... Monday he will officially be "full-term". Although he was still breech a few weeks ago, he turned at some point. My ultrasound last week confirmed that he is now "head-down" :) According to the OB who read my ultrasound, he is also a "big baby". Although I don't have details on that (I didn't actually have the opportunity to read my chart at my midwife appt this week), I'm getting a little nervous, especially if he decides not to make his appearance into the world any time soon!
I have at least another 2 days at my internship next week after which point I hope to be able to just hang out with Abby & Jude and give them special Mummy time.
We'll keep you updated!
Halloween
Jude's "rooster" costume...I know, it's actually a chicken, but given that Jude's a boy, we called it a rooster :)
Jude with "Abby Kitty". If you recognize Abby's costume it's because we have LOTS of pictures of her in it from playschool (we borrowed it for last night because she's been asking for the last 8 months!)
Off for the goodies, Abby leading the way!
Jude checking out his stash while Abby and Daddy went to a few more houses. It was a very cold evening with flurries and strong winds. Despite the weather, we still had a few high school kids come until 9:45 pm. I was never out that late, but I also lived in the country where there are only so many houses!
