Our sweet Abs turned 8 last month (I know... I'm a little behind). One of the friends that Abby has had since JK turned 8 the day after Abby so we decided to celebrate their birthdays together. The girls had an amazing time playing in an enormous inflatable obstacle course, dancing and playing with hula hoops in the gym, adopting "webbies" and making laminated tags and collars for their new stuffy friends. Abs and her friend K. even decorated their cake together (with the moms' help). Including the girls' little brothers, we had 18 kids.
Time goes by so quickly... our little girl is quickly becoming a big girl. She's still passionate about animals although dogs continue to be her current favourite.
She decided to take Balto with her when she and 2 of her fellow Brownie friends visited the vet to complete one of their badges.
Fudge is the latest addition to our family and has recently been doing agility training with Abby.
This girl of ours is full of love and life. Passionate about animals and not cleaning her room. Set out to do a fundraiser in her school when she found out the local humane society needed help. Gave her heart to Jesus. Loves dogs (and lately dolphins). Still calls us Mummy & Dadddy, even when there is a tinge of defiance. Loves her brothers, especially when they play "puppies" with her. Forgives them (most of the time) when they hide her stuffies. Loves her friends. Has conquered the back bend and competes in acro for the first time next month. Loves to play and sleeps with no less than 10 stuffies each night...
