Abby has never liked me combing her hair. In the morning, her hair is fuzzy so it takes some time to remove all the snarls and make it smooth. I've had to come up with a story about mice/frogs/monkeys, etc. having a party in her hair while she was sleeping to distract her while I brush or comb.It's been slightly easier keeping her hair neat lately as she's decided that she loves having "beautiful hair". She'll let me put it into either a french or corn braid. It's very cute on her.
I still like playing with her hair when we're cuddling before bed (she still plays with my hair too). She'll usually decide that she doesn't want me to play with her hair afterall and say "Excuse me, Mummy. Playing with my hair is not an option". What a kid!

We tried two small braids in Journey's hair once. We had to do it when it was wet so it would stay but that left it VERY kinky the next day (and the next and the next and the next) We won't be trying braids again anytime soon as the only way to remove the kinks is to wash them out, and Journey HATES getting her hair washed! I think Abby's braids look awesome!
