Jon unexpectedly needed the car yesterday afternoon so I wasn't able to go out to get his cake (McCain's cake is a tradition... I've offered to make a cake, but he actually prefers McCains!) until after supper. Ideally this picture would have included Jude, but he goes to bed at 6. I didn't get out until after Jude was already sleeping peacefully.
Abby singing Happy Birthday to Daddy. They are wearing their "party hats"... silly Mummy forgot to get party hats for Daddy's party!!! We had to improvise.
Abby had to help Daddy with the candles... there were A LOT (well, 32 looks like a lot on a little McCain's cake)... it was blinding!

Wow 32, I thought at first that the table had caught fire, I didn't notice the cake underneath it! It's a good thing that the dining room table (or is it kitchen table now?) is so close to the sink in case you needed to put that fire out in a hurry! :) Happy Birthday Jon!
