I grew up fishing for trout. For Abby's 2nd birthday, Papa got her a Dora fishing rod. Since then our summer trips to NB to see family always include fishing....
The kids did great! Jord caught 2 trout (Uncle Len gets the "assist") and Jude caught several chub, all by himself with his little Diego fishing rod.
Abby and Uncle Len waded downstream a bit for Abby to have the opportunity to catch some lunch as well.
Papa and I hung out with the boys....
...who got tired of fishing so decided to "fill their boots"... literally!
Back at Uncle Len's with the day's catch!
I guess it really shouldn't surprise me that my boys wanted to play with their fish....
Uncle Len gave them a lesson in how to clean fish if you don't have a knife with you (ummm.... no thanks!)
Abby was right in there :)

Our road trip to NB & back to Northwestern ON was busy, but full of memories!
