Here's Abby doing one of her most favourite activities, reading books.
Abby giving her little brother some cuddles.
Abby wanted me to take a picture of her with her "friends" on the step.
Abby loves having pretty toes, but also loves playing soccer. She wants me to share with you all that her favourite colours are purple & green.

I haven't tried painting Journey's toe nails but she loves to have her finger nails done. Usually her Mor Mor (my mom) does it for her. They seem so much alike ... Abby and Journey. Loving to read, liking to dress up and be princesses but also loving to play (sports etc). Right now Journey is very much into having her toys dialogue with eachother. She names them all and acts out different scenarios. She's been doing this for a long time but its starting to get very intricate (plot-wise) and there are lots of emotions involved. Very interesting to watch.
She's been eager to try to read me stories out loud. She starts telling the story but then gets frustrated and says "I can't do it" "I can't read". I feel kinda helpless. I don't know exactly how to encourage her to keep trying. I mean, we've started learning the alphabet but she's nowhere near actually being able to read. I just want to encourage her to keep telling me stories about what she sees on the page in the pictures. I think its a good exercise in developing her imagination etc. But she seems to want to be able to actually READ the story to me.
Hey Abby! Go to my blog and check out my Christmas tree.
Journey
